Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)

 

A CSA has extensive knowledge about the aging population. By sucessfully passing the challenging exam, our CSA demonstrated his specialized knowledge in five key areas:

 

1. Social aspects of aging

2. Health aspects of aging: physical and mental

3. Financial and legal aspects of aging

4. Government assistence for seniors

5. Ethical communication with seniors

 

The CSA Code of Professional Responsibility

To remain in good standing, a CSA must adhere to the following standards:

 

Competence. CSAs are obligated to keep their professional training, skills and knowledge current and comprehensive in order to competently provide professional services to seniors.

 

Honesty. A CSA shall not lie, cheat, or steal and must accurately communicate to clients their professional credentials and qualifications; and must be clear in their communications with clients.

 

Trustworthiness. CSAs must act in a trustworthy manner by promptly and courteously addressing client questions and concerns, and performing in their client's best interest.

 

Fairness. A CSA shall conduct their professional activities fairly and impartially, and must disclose all potential conflicts of interest. CSAs must rigorously safeguard client information.

 

Professionalism. CSAs must serve with the highest degree of professionalism, use due diligence and act in good faith in all matters.
